Ceremony of awarding the winners of the competition “Kresttsy Embroidery - in harmony with the new era”
On February 25, 2021, in the Hall of Henry II, a solemn rewarding of the winners of the competition took place. The competition was organized by the Stieglitz Academy together with its partner - the famous Novgorod factory “Krestetskaya Strochka”.
The winners of the competition “Kresttsy Embroidery - in harmony with the new era” were awarded with diplomas and prizes. The award ceremony was attended by Alexandra Georgieva, the creative director of “Krestetskaya Strochka” company, Olga Razinkova, the executive director of projects, Tatyana Kovaleva, the vice-rector for scientific work of the Stieglitz Academy, Sergey Sukharev, the head of the department of ceramics and glass and the winners of the competition: Evgeniya Shilova, Anna Petrova, and Maria Pukhova.

The main task of the competition “Kresttsy Embroidery - in harmony with the new era” was to develop artistic concepts of glass and porcelain products for table setting and interior decoration in the context of harmonious combination with the textile products of the factory. The students of the Department of Ceramics and Glass took part in the competition. The head of the department, Sergey Sukharev, curated the competition. The artists studied information about this folk artistic craft and the philosophy of the Kresttsy Embroidery brand. This allowed thinking over and implementing a harmonious combination of colors and shapes of future products.
