Cooperation of Stieglitz Academy and Concept Group

The Rector of the Stieglitz Academy, Anna Nikolaevna Kislitsyna, the city administration’s representatives and the General Director of Concept Group, a major Russian clothes manufacturer, met and discussed set up of a new industrial chair of fashion industry technology and management in order to improve the educational processes, professional and practical training of the students of the Stieglitz Academy. Elena Vladimirovna Bogomolova, the General Director of Concept Group, was invited to head the industrial chair. The company’s facilities and the classrooms of the industrial chair, equipped with new modern equipment and software, were demonstrated during the meeting.

The new educational program developed together with Concept Group is based on the bachelor’s degree program “Fashion Design”. The educational program includes such subjects as computer design technologies, automated clothes design systems, marketing and commerce in fashion industry, creation of fashion-retail brand. The program will foster academic excellence of the students allowing them to get competitive practical skills. Cooperation with Concept Group allows the Stieglitz Academy to invite best employees of the company to teach students, combine educational, creative, scientific and innovative approaches and also allows the student to take part in the manufacturing process. Concept Group hopes that the best students will join the team in future.
