Intercollegiate competition in painting
On October 11, 2020, the Moscow architectural Institute (MARHI) hosted the annual interuniversity Olympiad in painting among students studying in the areas of "Architecture" and "Design". Spghpa named after A. L. Stieglitz was represented by 7 participants (Alexandra Polyanskaya, Maria Knutova, Anna Nenasheva, Alexandra Topchilina, Alexander Kryuchkov, Yevgenia Kokorina, Yakov Dedkov). Head: Professor of the Department of painting L. N. Dutov.
The Olympiad was held in a remote format and was dedicated to the 100th anniversary of VKhUTEMAS, and looking at the works of the winners, you can see in them a certain reflection of the confrontation between avant-garde and realism, which was one of its characteristic features.
This year, 7 Russian universities participated in the Olympiad: MARKHI, NNGSU, Sam GTU, I. Glazunov RAZHVZ, SPb GLTU, spghpa named after A. L. Stieglitz, GUZ. In the end, leadership is left for the "Stieglitz" and "Maristany". Among the winners also the representative of the Samara state technical University. We also publish the two works that came closest to the winners ' scores.

In addition to representatives of participating universities, well-known artists, designers, sculptors and architects - Yuri Avvakumov, Mikhail Dronov, Viktor kukharsky, Sergey Maksyutin, Maria Pereyaslavets-were invited to the jury as independent experts.Of course, this format was a forced measure. we hope that next year all the teams will traditionally gather in MARHI for a face-to-FACE creative meeting.
